Dr. Ama Boateng, MBA, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC

Dr. Boateng is a board-certified Nurse practitioner who specializes in Family and Psychiatry. She earned both degrees at The George Washington University. She believes that empathy and building a trusting relationship with patients and their families are vital to any recovery process. Dr. Boateng specializes in working with psychiatric patients across the lifespan (children – elderly) struggling to cope with co-occurring disorders such as Anxiety, Depression, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Substance Use, Post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), Psychosis, and Bipolar. She is licensed through America Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) to treat Opioid Dependence with Buprenorphine and Methadone.
