Ashleigh Joyner
Resident in Counseling
Ashleigh Joyner is a Resident in Counseling and a graduate of Old Dominion University. She is dedicated to helping clients navigate life's challenges with compassion, authenticity, and curiosity. Ashleigh believes therapy should be a collaborative and supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to create meaningful change.
Ashleigh works with adults (18+) and offers individual and relationship counseling, including support for both monogamous and ethically non-monogamous (ENM) relationships.
Drawing from CBT, Person-Centered, Feminist, and Narrative therapies, Ashleigh tailors treatment to each client's unique needs and goals. Her areas of interest include LGBTQ+ and BIPOC support, attachment and relationship concerns, gender exploration, sexuality, boundary-setting, and trauma-informed care.
In her free time, Ashleigh enjoys gaming, doing crafts, reading, traveling, going to the movies, attending anime conventions, antique hunting, and spending time with loved ones.
