She has been a Nurse Practitioner since 2014. She is a Doctor of Nursing Practice. She provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management for all patient populations.

    Aisha attended Old Dominion University where she earned a Bachelor's in Biology/ Pre-medicine in 2009. In 2014 she changed her pre-med focus and earned a second Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from Norfolk State University. Aisha spent five years understanding the comprehensive components of bedside nursing and patient care. In 2019 she returned to Walden University where she earned her Masters in Nursing, with a specialty in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Aisha understands a patient-centered approach will help improve the individual outcome. She believes combining cognitive, neuroscientific and holistic principles will help support the person as whole.

    Ama is a board-certified Nurse practitioner who specializes in Family and Psychiatry. She earned both degrees at The George Washington University. She believes that empathy and building a trusting relationship with patients and their families are vital to any recovery process. Ama specializes in working with psychiatric patients across the lifespan (children – elderly) struggling to cope with co-occurring disorders such as Anxiety, Depression, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Substance Use, Post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), Psychosis, and Bipolar. Ama is licensed through America Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) to treat Opioid Dependence with Buprenorphine and Methadone.

    Dr. Cheatham is a board eligible clinical neuropsychologist. She attended Old Dominion University for her undergraduate degree and completed her master’s and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology at Florida Institute of Technology where she concentrated in neuropsychology and health psychology. She completed her residency in clinical neuropsychology with Veterans Affairs. She specializes in assessment of neurodegenerative disorders, and evaluates a wide range of psychological, neurodevelopmental (e.g., ADHD, ASD), neurological, and complex medical conditions.

    Dr. Blanco-Knezovich has been practicing family practice primary medical care since 2006 and provided medication management for cognitive and psychotropic medication since 2015. She has been a leader in academia as an educator and graduate program director for health sciences to mentoring and precepting for multiple universities on the bachelor's, master's, and doctorate levels. She established the first retail free clinic in the area and has been a medical director and senior clinician for multiple clinics. She is the founder of Promethean Group, a 501(c)3 clinic that services vulnerable populations and is dedicated to providing the highest level of care.

    Keesha is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She obtained her Post-Master’s Certification in December 2021 from Regis College located in Weston, Massachusetts. Prior to this, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing Administration from Old Dominion University 2014 and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Norfolk State University in the mid 1990’s. She has an extensive diverse background as a compassionate, devoted healthcare practitioner. Her goals and passions include ensuring patients maintain their health and well-being, so that they may enjoy life to the fullest.

    Tiffany Johnson is a nationally certified physician assistant who provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management to pediatrics, adolescents and adults. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Pre-medicine with a minor in Chemistry from Elizabeth City State University. She received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from East Carolina University in 2005. She has experience working with all populations and has worked in multiple specialties including emergency medicine, traditional urgent care, pediatric urgent care, pediatric outpatient medicine, urology, and physical medicine and rehabilitation.

    Dr. Scott Wiener serves as our collaborating psychiatrist/physician. HE IS NOT ON-SITE.
    Dr. Wiener completed his medical training at the NYU and Zucker Schools of Medicine before running his own private practice in the suburbs of New York City. In 2016 he was appointed Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Touro College of Medicine and in 2018 appointed Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Wiener serves as an adviser and on the board of directors of Autism Friendly Spaces and has been an instructor for Psych U. Currently Dr. Wiener continues to focus his efforts in the area of functional medicine in mental health working with individuals and families in both Washington and Virginia.

    Brittany graduated from Virginia State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work. She then obtained her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Norfolk State University in 2019. She has worked with different populations to include children, adolescents, adults, and families. She has experience with clients that are dealing with anxiety, depression, anger issues, behavioral issues, and low self-esteem just to name a few. Brittany utilizes person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, and solution-focused therapy techniques. She has a passion for empowering those that feel unseen and unheard as she strives to assist everyone with discovering their strengths and overcoming barriers. She believes in providing non-judgmental and genuine support to everyone to ensure a healthy therapeutic relationship. Her main goal is to ensure an emotionally open and safe environment, so that her clients are able to feel comfortable enough to go through the process of healing and personal growth.

    Minnie obtained her B.A in Psychology from Norfolk State University in 2005 and M.A. in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2010. She is focused on helping patients gain insight into their current challenges, behaviors, and beliefs. She believes that being healthy mentally is key to being healthy physically. It is her goal to provide patients with an environment that allows them to openly share, while feeling supported, and safe. Her next goal is to empower her patients to make healthy decisions by developing strengths that will improve their mental health and sculpt them into the person they are striving to be. With motivation and the willingness to change anything is possible.
